Purpose

These terms and conditions are intended to define the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other necessary matters between users and the company regarding the use of the clothing storage service provided by LaundryWing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as 'LaundryWing').

 

Definition of Terms

① The definitions of terms used in these terms and conditions are as follows.

1) 'Customer' refers to any user who uses LaundryWing's clothing storage service.

2) 'Clothing Storage Service' refers to the service in which laundry received at LaundryWing franchise stores is stored after washing and delivered to the customer on the desired date.

3) 'Clothing Storage Laundry' refers to laundry to which the service applies according to 2 above.

4) 'Desired Delivery Date' refers to the end date of the storage service according to the paid fee.

② Except as defined in ① above, the definitions of terms used in these terms and conditions shall be governed by relevant laws and service policies. Matters not defined by relevant laws and service policies shall be governed by general practices.

 

Specification and Amendment of Terms

① These terms and conditions take effect by being posted online through the website (http://www.LaundryWing.com/) operated by LaundryWing. Users who agree to these terms and use the 'Clothing Storage Service' provided by the company are subject to the terms from the time of agreement.

② LaundryWing may change these terms and conditions if deemed necessary. In the event of a change, LaundryWing will specify the contents and effective date of the changed terms and post them online on the website at least 7 days before the effective date, and in the case of changes unfavorable to the rights and obligations of customers, at least 30 days before the effective date. The changed terms and conditions take effect from the effective date posted or notified.

③ If a customer does not agree to the changed terms, they may stop using the service before the effective date of the terms, and if no objection is raised, it is considered that the customer has agreed to the revised terms. LaundryWing is not responsible for any loss incurred by the customer due to not being aware of the changed terms.

④ Matters not specified in these terms and the interpretation of these terms shall be governed by the [Consumer Protection Act], [Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions], [Standard Laundry Terms and Conditions] set by the Fair Trade Commission, [Consumer Protection Guidelines in Electronic Commerce], and relevant laws or general practices.

 

Service Usage Procedure

To use the 'Clothing Storage Service', the customer follows the procedure below.

1) Visit a LaundryWing franchise store and express your intention to use the 'Clothing Storage Service'.

2) Select the desired delivery date for the laundry to be stored and pay the service fee.

4) Receive the clothing storage laundry through the franchise store. (Leather and fur clothing are stored in a separate dedicated storage room and are delivered separately from general storage items.)

 

Service Items

① The applicable and non-applicable laundry items for the clothing storage service are as follows.

② Laundry received through pickup & delivery and postpaid items are not eligible for storage service.

③ In addition, if it is judged to be unsuitable for storage during pre-inspection at the franchise or before washing, the use of the storage service may be restricted.

 

Service Period

① The storage period can be specified from a minimum of 1 month to a maximum of 9 months.

② The desired delivery date can be changed up to 15 days before the storage expiration date. (e.g., if the storage expiration date is 3/3, the available delivery designation date is 2/4~3/3) However, if the storage expiration date or desired delivery date falls on a Sunday or public holiday, it will be automatically set to the previous business day.

 

Service Usage Fee

① The clothing storage service is charged on a flat-rate basis and cannot be calculated on a pro-rata basis. (Refer to the website for fees)

② The flat-rate amount applies for up to 9 months, which is the maximum storage period. (Laundry fee is separate)

③ The flat-rate fee for the clothing storage service is non-refundable as it is the basic logistics and service cost required for the service, regardless of the storage period.

④ No discounts, including those for infants, are applied to the storage fee.

 

Cancellation of Clothing Storage Laundry Receipt

Cancellation of clothing storage laundry receipt is only possible on the day of receipt.

 

Early Delivery During Storage Period

① Early delivery is not possible within the minimum storage period (1 month).

② If early delivery is desired, the desired delivery date can be changed through the LaundryWing app or franchise store.

③ For clothing storage laundry with the same receipt date and desired delivery date, changes can only be made collectively. (Individual item delivery date changes are not possible)

④ As it is charged on a flat-rate basis, no refund will be given for early delivery.

 

Extension of Storage Period

① The storage period can be extended up to 9 months from the initial receipt date, and an additional flat-rate fee will be charged for further extension.

② For clothing storage laundry with the same receipt date and desired delivery date, changes can only be made collectively. (Individual item delivery date changes are not possible)

Expiration of Storage Period

① If the customer does not pick up the clothing storage laundry by the storage expiration date, an overdue storage fee will be charged.

② Clothing storage laundry that has not been picked up for 3 months after the storage expiration date may be disposed of, and LaundryWing is not responsible for this.

 

Customer's Essential Obligations

① Customers must be aware of and agree to the terms and conditions and restrictions when using the clothing storage service.

② Customers must check the condition of the laundry immediately after receiving the clothing storage laundry.

③ LaundryWing is not responsible for any problems arising from failure to comply with ① and ② above.

 

Service Claims

① If there is any abnormality after receiving the clothing storage laundry, please contact the store where you received it or the Customer Satisfaction Team (1899-4568) within 7 days. At this time, the laundry and storage tags attached by LaundryWing must be attached for verification.

② Compensation standards for laundry fees for the clothing storage service, including loss, are in accordance with the 'Standard Laundry Terms and Conditions'. However, compensation for storage fees is based on separate internal standards.

③ In case of dissatisfaction with laundry quality, LaundryWing may rewash once.

④ Rewash requests can be made through the franchise store where the storage service was initially received. If the initial store is closed, it will be transferred to the jurisdictional store, and in unavoidable cases such as customer relocation, delivery can be arranged after consultation with the store owner.

⑤ LaundryWing may refuse to rewash in the following cases.

1) If the laundry and storage tags issued at the time of receipt have been removed

2) If more than 7 days have passed since receiving the clothing storage laundry

3) If the laundry received for clothing storage and the laundry requested for rewash are different

4) If there is no information that the laundry used LaundryWing's clothing storage service

 

Company's Exemption

① Clothing storage laundry that has not been picked up for 3 months after the storage expiration date may be disposed of, and LaundryWing is not responsible for this.

 

Extinction of Liability

Even in the case of damages caused by LaundryWing's clear fault, LaundryWing's liability will be extinguished if the customer does not report the damage by phone or through the LaundryWing website within 7 days from the date of receipt of the item.

 

Entrustment of Storage Location

LaundryWing may entrust the operation of the storage location for clothing storage laundry to an external company. In this case, LaundryWing must supervise the entrusted company to maintain the condition of the storage location properly so that the clothes are not damaged.

 

Personal Information Protection

① LaundryWing collects only the minimum personal information necessary for the use of the clothing storage service by lawful and fair means.

② For details on the company's personal information protection policy, please refer to the 'Privacy Policy'.

 

Service Suspension and Notice

① If LaundryWing suspends the clothing storage service, it must notify customers using the service and stop accepting storage service applications.

② Clothing storage laundry in storage will be serviced until the storage expiration date, and extension of the storage period is not possible.

 

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

① These terms and conditions are governed by Korean law.

② Lawsuits regarding disputes between LaundryWing and customers shall be filed with the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act.

 

<Supplementary Provisions>

These terms and conditions shall take effect from March 1, 2024.
